Well done indeed, sir.  I can certainly see how it might be useful in the situation you illustrate.

And of course, welcome to BG.

I've been half asleep for awhile so sorry I missed this at first.

This, too among others, is a great piece of crafting!
And it's a nice example of uniform appearance, the painting/patina is well done. Smiley

What was used for the main body?
And *cough*, WIP shots? Grin

Thanks. The body was I guess a kind of paintball pistol (there were still several yellow balls inside), made from a blue transparent plastic, bought for 1 € at a flea market.
Finally, I have found a web page with its image : http://www.personal.psu.edu/sxk5082/19.%20BE%20Blade.jpg ("Brass Eagle Blade Pump Action Paintball Gun Marker").
Each part of the result is something bought for 1 € at a flea market (actually, at always the same one) and then customized. Only the painting is a little bit more expensive…
Sorry, there are no WIP shots. I'll try to do better next time. The new one is under construction.

An example of one part of the ray gun :

^yes, that's partly why I like to see WIP shots. Smiley

You have made a thing of beauty from such an ugly paintball gun!

I am very honoured by your compliment, sir, indeed.
Even uggly, the blue pistol was very inspiring and having great potential.
And when I found that exactly fitting vintage lampshade support (the biggest piece at the end of the barrel), all was decided.
