There is an ongoing issue that is affecting some users and not others (yet). We are are aware of it, and Proteus has been notified.

Hopefully things will be sorted soon. Smiley

Glad to know it's not just me.

Although is anyone else getting some weird message about domain registration or some such when they try and load up the main page?

Got the same thing here, looks really odd in white (and reminds me I actually bothered to put transparent bits on my avatar)

Not getting that myself, maybe it's just you :p

Not getting that error myself, but that would totally fit with the way this problem has propagated slowly - same way as a DNS issue, which is what I thought it initally was...

Oh well, just waiting on Proteus now.

Whoa! I just hit refresh, and I'm getting the old page back.

Is it back up for everyone else, or am I getting my hopes up?

bg.org is showing as an ICANN domain name problem, so I jumped back to bg.co.uk and it's working but only in the generic white-screen mode.

Initially I thought it was probably just a local problem out here, but it sounds like others are getting similar effects back in civilisation.

I don't know, I go away for a week or so, and look what happens...   Wink

Ah, that may be it. My bookmarked link is to the .org domain, but my browser history has it as .co.uk.

(just checked and that's the problem. Sorted out.

If I remember correctly, there was a trick some people used (including myself) the last time we lost the.org domain, in which you could "force" your operating system (not the browser but the interphase between your browser and the OS) to direct the query from the .co.uk link to the .org domain.

Me thinks this is a setting in my Linux. While the .org domain is inoperative, it's mixing certificates, snippets and thingamajigs from both. Those who are experiencing problems, what OS are you running?

Scratch that, and also my last post.  The problem is not sorted out

It's not doing it for me.

My iPod Touch 2nd gen. (which was working fine yesterday whose iOS was never tweaked, and whose browser cache settings were never touched throughout the .org saga last time) also shows the "white page" (So that is 3 browsers and two operating systems showing the same problem)

Yeah... it might be a while yet - I only just realised the message I sent to Proteus earlier today, was to the email address on the currently suspended .ORG domain.

[insert foul swear word here]

I have since contacted him more directly, so he should be aware of the issue soon.

Thank goodness for that, the white background version was giving me a headache.

Cheers to the person who kicked the formatting widget, nice to see it working again.
