The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.

''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.''

No one over 30? Please explain. The people in there wouldn't let you in because you're old?

I'm at least 50% older than that age BTW, so I'm not taunting you, but unless you convince me that Disneyland is the same as the city in Logan's Run movie (1976) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logan's_Run_%28film%29), and your time is up and you need to die gracefully and make room for the young by going to the Carrousel [sic], then I see no reason you can't attend.

What the...Did I just watch a 32 minute, 48 second commercial for a feckin' rave...?!!  Angry

I kept at it, thinking, well, maybe they'll get to the Steampunk in a moment...And so, that's a half-hour plus of my life I'll never get back.

As with everything else, gluing gears on the stage doesn't make it "Steampunk themed". Anyone going to this event looking for Steampunk would have been very, very disappointed (although, if they went there looking for STDs...).

One hopes no one who was new to Steampunk didn't come away from this thinking, "Meh."

This was nothing more or less than college spring break with a fancy stage.
