 An older form of reaching the masses has caught my attention and  piqued my curiosity .  The Tent Revival.  Traveling churches  set up in large tents , saving souls across the land. Many of these church revivals were charismatic in their presentation and exposition.

The careful and deliberate theatrical floor shows have inspired  a recent trend in performance art venue  and exhibition.

 I don't think the missionaries and evangelists of the 1700s & 1800s  intended this inspiration  or would have approved

 but the charlatans and snake oil merchants would be having a chuckle
