I need to make some holders for test tubes for my jungle outfit - specimens that I have found during my travels.  On the hip, the upper arm or on the hat?  Maybe a necklace?  It is so hard to decide.  I am beginning to incline towards a necklace methinks.

Perhaps a a bandoleer or cartridge box?

Frances, you could always do something like this? (excuse the rough'n'ready photo edit)

Make the tube holder with slots at each end and it can be threaded onto a belt or bandolier, thus giving more than one location option

Not on a necklace. The jungle setting means almost any holder directly on the skin would cause chafing when you sweat.

I've got one outfit to modify on the list before completing this jungle outfit for summer jaunts.  I live near to the Crystal Palace dinosaurs so a jungle outfit is a must.  A bandoleer / something that could be used on a number of outfits. My tubes are quite small. Hmm.  Still thinking.
