If the victorians had TV, how the schedule would look like ?

I think it may look like 1950's BBC mixed with old timey cinema newsreel with religious offices broadcasted during sundays and holy days and silver era's serial-like adaptations of penny dreadfulls.

The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.

''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.''

And lots of advice shows.  It was the era of books on how to run your household so that would likely transplant to ethervision schedules as well.  Mrs. Beaton was her era's Martha Stewart.

Some sports programming would air too.  Baseball already was organized in the Victorian Era.

The Natural Philosophy Channel would, I imagine, be very popular. Evolution; The Royal Society Presents…; Watt's New; The Bakerian Lectures; Radiance, with William Crookes; Electricity Uncaged, with Michael Faraday; William Thomson's Heat of the Moment; Thomas Cook's World

Any other ideas?

Some sensational programming wouldn't be out of the question either, perfect for those after dinner conversations. One such example would be The Great Moon Hoax of 1835.

Imperial Broadcasting Corporation's reality programming: "The 1700 House"

"In the show, a modern family tries to live in the way of the Georgians in 1700 for three months in a modified manor."

Have you considered the possibility that they might have some channels only accessible by the wealthy, and others designed for the betterment of the poor? Just an idea.

In the 1970s and '80s the late film historian and enthusiast Elwy Yost had a program on TVOntario called Magic Shadows, in which he serialized old films into four or five half-hour episodes a week. BroadcastUpperCanada would, of course, air this series without modification. Wink

What would The  Beachcombers  be like in  Steampunk. Would they all have one of those mustaches like the uncle.  What would Jessie's costume be like?

Would the grandmother have a tea shop?

Persephone would be almost the same, steam-powered instead of diesel. Silver Gale (the RCMP boat) would almost have to be turbine-powered, and I'm having a hard time picturing how Relic's jetboat would be altered.

Molly's Reach would likely not be a tea-house (given that Gibsons was a fishing & logging town) but would probably serve a decent local ale.

Other than that, I don't think it would be much different aside from the costumes and the occasional steam juggernaut hauling logs through town.

Could you remind me who you mean by "the uncle?"
