In the early days I was a frequent poster but times have moved on. My interests have broadened rather than changed and I find I have less time to start new projects / posts which I think the new breed of posters would find interesting. However, I do keep an interested watch on the forum and contribute where I think I might have something to say. I guess that makes me a lurker!

It is a salutary reminder to see I have spent nearly 58 x 24hr days of my life on this forum...

I really didn't think I'd have spent four months (or thereabouts) reading and posting here.  Then again, I have been a member since what?- 2007/ 2008....

Persons intending to travel by open carriage should select a seat with their backs to the engine, by which means they will avoid the ashes emitted therefrom, that in travelling generally, but particularly through the tunnels, prove a great annoyance; the carriage farthest from the engine will in consequence be found the most desirable.

Based on my stats, I'd say I qualify as a "Lurker" given the amount of time I've been a member (7 March 2010) - I do post, but it seems to be mostly in the Off Topic areas, as I don't feel I have much to contribute to other discussions...either due to lack of interest or I genuinely have nothing to add.

I think this makes me a "Supporter", but I suppose it could be interpreted another way.

Although, you can easily double (or more) the "Total Time Spent Online", since whatever algorithm is used doesn't count the time I've spent reading nor the time I've spent actually composing my posts (and I go back and forth checking my sources, revising wording, checking, cross-checking, and double-checking, etc., before I actually hit the "Post" button). So, I don't know if that makes me a "Lurker", or just slooooow.

I'm a Lurker right now but only because I'm brand new and have no idea what's going on yet. ( ̄ε(# ̄)︴

i was going to go with lurker due to the low count in posts and i remember I rarely posted, but opted for other as I have been absent for along time. I thought I might have lost my account due to the inactivity.

I am definately a lurker and I make no appologies for it. Tongue I'm known for keeping my thoughts to myself until I've made a decision or have constructed my arguments to my own satisfaction. Also I tend to get distracted with other projects and end up being absent from the forums for prolonged periods of time. Now that I will appologise for.  Grin
