January 19th, 2015 is the 100th anniversary of the first zeppelin raid on Britain (a little dark and steamy at the same time) and since this also happens to be Martin Luther King day which many Americans get off work (or Gen. Robert E Lee's birthday which is officially celebrated in some southern states), is anyone planning any SP activities?

It is at least a good excuse to get dressed up and go out for a pint.

I often pass where the first bomb fell when I go to the coast, I've even sat drinking cocktails in the garden of the next house along.

I'm not familiar with how to post links to images...it should be the 'Blue Plaque' where the first Zeppelin bomb fell on Britain in Sherringham Norfolk.

The fragment of the first German airship shot down over Britain in my collection of early aviation artifacts doesn't look much . But was one of my better auction finds.
