I had heard about this book at a steampunk festival in Giddings, TX last year. At the time it was still in it's formative stages, but it resurfaced in my memory recently and I found out that it's been released! About 5 days ago actually.

            I bought an ebook copy of it and I'm only about 5 chapters in, but this thing is amazing!

         Some of the characters are Nikola Tesla, Billy The Kid and Jack The Ripper. There are also Robots and I'm not sure but there might even be aliens later. This thing is all the coolest things rolled into one book.

I love it. I'll keep you updated as I get through it. It's huge.

OH. I also heard that both of the authors are going to be at that festival in Giddings, TX again this year and they are going to be signing copies. I think I'll be getting myself a paperback! Wooo!

I have set your post font size back to normal, 14pt is a big big on normal computer screens (guessing you sent from a portable device / phone...). Wink

@Kieranfoy:

If you're addressing me, neither. I'm just a member who's been compiling lists of Steampunk books (traditionally published, e-published, graphic novels and online comics, anthologies, and non-fiction). The only two lists I've posted so far are the traditionally published and the graphic novels and online comics. I'm still not finished with the other three to my satisfaction.

Check out the lists and let me know if there's any I missed (please)!

Gotcha.

However, it appears that the individual hasn't been active since the thread was created. It's starting to look like someone joined just to plug the book. I hope that's not the case, because we want new members in the community, and the book's legit (Jeter and Lansdale, among others, have provided blurbs for the book jacket, if I'm reading Amazon correctly).

Ah, well...

My thinking exactly. The author signed up just to plug the book, seen it a million times!

Cest la vie. There's always new members coming in.
