If I have overstepped and need to back off, tell me so and I will do so, and will rewrite as you deem necessary.

London being even back then a lot bigger than just one alley's length, I figured it'd take at least three days to get clear of the city and up to a place sparsely-populated enough to hold an airfield and space for the airships to marshall and take off and land. I can rewrite if necessary.

I always pictured the slums to be near docks, the river was filthy back then.

But I suppose slums can pop up anywhere.

I'll be posting sometime later today or tonight; dealing with keeping one aged parent from falling and the other from overworking himself.
