This little piggy went to market,

1894, the age of steampower is on his peak. Airships and aeroplanes rule the sky , ironcladed leviathans the sea , mechanical giants the earth , fortress-like factorys fire , powerplants aether and royal magnetists the mind. But this golden age of science is about to get a horrible stain on his shining coat. Six years after the Ripper's rampage , a another serial killer will rise. His modus operandi : Each victims will be found clutching a scrap of paper with a verse of the nursery rhymes '' this little piggy '' in one hand and  the corresponding number of finger (one for the first, two for the second , etc) severed in the other. But would will be a pure act of madness or would will have a clear motive ? Your mission: Either find out, survive or triumph in your nefarious goal since on the 9 and more who ( ideally) will play this game , one will be the killer with a full list of his future victim and why , five will be the victims with  scratch of background containing crypticly partial clue on why they could attract the culprit's wrath  and the others shall be infortunate bystanders sucked in this Whirlpool of danger with red earing background. Nobody will know which is which until the killer complete his vendetta or be stop.


Minimum number of players for starting: 9+

- Each players will be assigned a role : Killer and Innocents
- Among the Innocents they would be two types : Victims and Red Earrings
- The Killer will receive by mp a list of his victims and the motive of his murders
- The Innocents will receive their backgrounds by mp. Said background will contain potential clues than can lead to the arrestation of the killer. They can reveal their background only if asked in character.
-The Killer will off course have a background too with its own, more misleading, set of clues.
- The Killer will commit his crimes by revealing himself by mp to his Victim who then describe in-game his murder. Victims are encouragef to give further "material" clues in this description but shall keep the culprit's identity for themselve until the end of the game.
- The Killer alone know who his a Victim and who a Red Earring.
- The Killler will kill a Victim by real life day ( or two, or three, depending of convenience )
- All characters don't know each other in apparence, althought in reality something extremely critical bond the Victims to the Killer. The main point of the game is to find what until is too late.

Interesting, and I do envisage creating a character for this, but perhaps at least the first few victims should be NPCs?

To set the scene, and presumably few players would wish to die a spectacular death in the first scene and have to spend the rest of the drama immobile*.


*unless, of course, there are resurrectionists/necromancers/practitioners of lightning-related mad-science....

I'd play. I think the *point* is for people to be 'killed off' right away, but we could always play again and switch it up. Let's just see how it goes.
