The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.

''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.''

Really enjoyed that, particularly the elegant style while running.

Is it part of a series ? (I'm hoping so).

I enjoyed that as well, made me smile.

I think the only time wrestling and gym have been in the same sentence with me, is wrestling with the decision whether to buy Jim Beam or Jack Daniels  Grin

Easy enough. Buy Jack Daniels. Made in Tennessee, where the best sipping whiskey is made. Also, this IS part of a series.

I have to say, I'm surprised that we haven't had a Steampunk character turn up in either WWE or TNA yet.

It can only be a matter of time.

Look at Triple H's original gimmick. Hunter Hearst Helmsley, obnoxious aristocrat heel. Doesn't even need gears.

Also, the obvious answer to Jim Beam or Jack Daniel's is NO. Drink something Irish instead.

I watched Wrestlemania last night.  Looks like Becky Lynch has embraced her inner Steampunk

(Couldn't find a photo of what she was actually wearing last night, but it involved a corset-like top & gears)

I'd say that Becky would definitely be the most prominent proponent in the squared circle;

Though I think you could make an argument for the tag-team, the Vaudevillains.

The girl from WWE Becky Lynch looks hot in Steampunk attire, but like with anything else involving multiculturalisms, I'm just waiting for the goofiness of Steampunk Lucha Libre  Grin
