Author Topic: Timex Type A button cell watch battery?  (Read 9233 times)

I'm helping a friend with his desceased fathers watch. The watch itself hasn't run in decades. It's an older mickey mouse watch. The back has the obvious round spot behind which is the battery. The battery says:

Timex
Type A
+
MADE IN ENGLAND     PATENT PENDING


I there something we can replace it with? It has no other specifications of use anywhere.

According to "Battery Bob" this is replaceable with Maxell SR44SW (303), Duracell/Maxell 303,  and Duracell/Energizer 357, and Duracell 10L14
