back on the previous servers there was, if I am not mistaken, a thread that either involved or had a few posts relating to the subject of pedometer maintenance and repair. Can someone point in the direction of such a thread, or failing that, some resource (preferably online) for performing such work?

LOL.

I mean, the device for measuring steps taken, the pedometer.

I have an old mechanical New Haven that seems to be missing a  set screw, or whatever they're called, and the stride setting seems somewhat wonky.
