Having taken Sir Fluffalot to his first big steampunk event in his new gear, it had me wondering how others have made this 'fluffy' friends thier outfits?

Sir Fluffalots Goggles got a few comments, so I will try and explain how I made them to start us off.

What I used:
Brass eyelets - just the part with the long shaft
Fabric to bulk out around the shaft
suedette
thread
glue

What I did:
I folded the fabric to give 4 layers and sewed the edge
I then wraped this around the eyelet shaft, glueing it in place to the shaft of the eyelet
Over this I tightly wrapped a piece of suedette, and stitched the edges of this together
Repeated for the other eye

I then cut narrow strips of the suedette, and used sewed these on to create the nose bridge and goggle straps, which and simply tied to secure.
