Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum and slightly new to watchmaking. However I routinely have dreams about movements and people constantly have to get my attention sometimes when I crack open the back of my watch and stare.
I found an off the beaten path antique shop by my place with loads of old pocket watches! Now I have to limit myself so I don't spend my whole paycheck.
I picked up this beauty a couple days ago! The seller only wanted $45... After a clean it runs perfectly and holds time wonderfully.

Anyways I just wanted to share and say Hi to everyone.

Thank you! Smiley He does have lots more.
I picked up this beauty today.

made at the Trenton Watch Company Factory, Trenton, NJ, from 1900-1904. This one is a standard 16S and was sold as movement only.

It was made before Ingersoll bought Trenton.

I cleaned and serviced and found that the balance wheel spring is broken. Took me awhile but found a guy selling this same watch with a broken mainspring, face plate, and no dials, but an intact balance wheel! So yet another $200 watch that only cost me $80 total to get working. Cheesy

Hi, and well done! I'm jealous as you like about your finds, wish I had a place like that near. Keep it up!
