Thoroughly enjoyed tonight's episode. It had me on the edge of my seat. Something has just occurred to me though...

One problem I had with the episode (though it was one of the best of the series, and far better than the previous two)...

Apparently this season will end on a cliffhanger though, so it's probably best to understand it as a four parter including the Christmas special.

Going back to Face the Raven, I've just found out that in one scene there's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot of a poster with writing in Aurebesh (the official alphabet of the Star Wars Universe).

Here it is:

Anyway, if you translate it...

... you get a nice little easter-egg-within-an-easter-egg:

Micheal F. - or maybe they were just looking in the property cupboard for posters to cover a wall and came across this one from an old set.

Boot strap paradox. He kind of mentioned it earlier in the series.

Alex Kingston will be back! On tv today talking about her return.

And the Doctor's got a new sonic screwdriver!

Hopefully this means he's moving past the mid-life crisis sonic sunglasses (and hoodie and electric guitar).

Banfili, I like the electric guitar and I don't mind the sunglasses, but the hoodie is gross and has to go.
If I was designing Twelve a new sonic, though, I'd slim it down. Something like Nine's sonic, but in goldtone with a green light to match his ring.
