Cleanly done :}  Playing around with felt or fountain pens?

Felt.. Pitt Pens. I've been looking at pen nibs lately though.

Thank You

I've been trying to relearn "painting" on the computer with Paint Shop Pro; this is the final form of the digital painting. It's the St. Elmo at sunset.

Hopefully this works better than the link did

Possibly the no. 29 which is a century-old 2-8-0 Consolidation, but I can't be sure. There must be an expert hereabouts who would know.

Interesting, nonetheless. Thanks for the info! (I'm a bit of an american loco* freak)

Thats a nice little caricature you have there.  Grin However, I would be careful of using strong shadows since that will flatten the image if used wrong. for instance, the shadow is in front of the character, but not on the character.

But it looks great none the less.  Grin

Finally 'geared up' and finished this- or updated it, rather. It needed some work, but I'm pretty happy with it now.

I dearly love Steampunk, I do love drawing robots, and I must say I'm quite fond of Zoids. So I suppose this was bound to happen sooner or later, eh?
I present to ye, a steamed up Zaberfang!

Meh, may as well throw some of my art in here... I don't do a lot of steam-punky stuff, and it's not up to the skill level I see around here, but what the hell.

This one came from lack of sleep and listening to "Herr Drosselmier's Doll" repeatedly:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Here's a bad snapshot of my cabinet I keep my collection of junk that I swear, someday I'll get around to using them for something:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

An idea I sketched out for a leather and brass gas-mask... construction advice or critiques are welcome on this one, just drop me a PM:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A quicky drawing of my Fursona (yes, I'm one of them... don't be hatin') in steampunk garb:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

And finally, a "shame" mask, that while it's not really steampunk, could be stretched... kinda... to fit the distopian steampunk ideal. It was inspired by a friend's fan-fiction of the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. In this case, "to lose face" has a literal meaning. Oh, and the word "Dishonor" was intentionally misspelled... not sure why, but that's the way it was written and he was very adamant that it was intentional:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I'm pretty sure I have more stuff, but I'm too tired to go looking for it all... if you want to see more, check my DA page.

Diesel, if anything, not steam - but it was the cover for the Gatehouse Gazette #10. It was done for the mag in pen and ink, but I decided to take some acrylics to it and this is the result. Very heavy on the vintage pulp mag in its look and feel.
