My wife and I will be going to PAXAUS (http://aus.paxsite.com/) in July in Melbourne. Is anyone else planning to be there? Will you be steamed up?

I saw and photographed a few steampunk outfits there today. I was Professor Layton with the slot machine gun and tall brown top hat. I will be wearing the same tomorrow. If you see me, stop and say hello.

Will do soon. One of the enforcers/volunteers was steampunk and we had a chat with him on Friday and Saturday. Lots of people had googles but nothing else that I would consider steampunk. Not sure what was behind that.

Okay. We actually didn't take that many photos of steampunk people due to their scarcity. But here are some of us and others from PAXAUS. The set of all our PAXAUS 2013 photos are at  http://www.flickr.com/photos/sorontar/sets/72157634755084369/with/9350312832/

Spoiler: Photos (click to show/hide)
No particularly steampunk games that I can remember, but one Indie Game (Freedom Fall) did involve picking up machine parts so you could make apparatus to help escape from a tower, like wings. We took a shot of someone cosplaying the main character (http://www.flickr.com/photos/sorontar/9347532791/#) but they weren't really steampunk.
