Author Topic: Any Second Life players amongst you? (pics of my avi follow)  (Read 406 times)

I only ask because i play it, have been for 7 years, and it's cool to be able to be Steampunk on there!  It's actually how i found out about Steampunk and now i hangout at this place that is 4 sims in size called New Babbage, it's an industrial Steampunk sim which is pretty awesome.

Sadly i don't see too many Steampunk people on Second Life or i see people claiming to be Steampunk all because they're dressed in a Victorian tux or gown, no that's Victorian not Steampunk lol.

Anyhoo here are a few picture of my avi on Second Life  Cheesy

And a sort of signature thing i made with my avi in it xD

I haven't been able to get back into Second Life for a while, due to the mutability of the landscape from people coming and going it's been hard to find where to put down new roots. That said New Babbage has always been a favourite destination of mine. I'm surprised you have struggled to find steampunks on there, there's a very healthy community, especially around New Babbage (though admittedly activity is almost purely at PST peak times). Not sure what you mean about people just wearing steampunk attire though, I find New Babbage has quite an immersive effect and even if it is primarily a sim for builders that most people there end up naturally roleplaying.

The H. stands for Hieronymus. Why? Because it sounds positively nifty!
