it is a futuristic bowie knife that began life as  a piece of high carbon scrap steel flat stock about 1 1/2" bu 18" by 3/8" this is my first knife from scratch and i have a feeling this is gonna take a while, i decided to do the stock removal method and man does it take a long time on the grinder, i will attempt to post a pic when the outline of the blank is complete. i just wanted to give an update so that i can keep on track. i think you guys would be astounded at all of the projects i have going on at once, it is probably not the best method but it works for me.
