Sooo, after a lot of mis-steps and some downtime, I may be making some progress.

Body work is all on, pretty solid, may still add some bracing.

Rear suspension is in place, though the attachment at the rear wheel needs a fair bit of work (position is a bit of, and the whole thing needs to brace back to the original shock mount).

Sorry for the horrible photos, I lot my camera, was using my phone, and didn't clean them up in gimp like I normally do.  Still happy to have something to show.

Holy crap, this is old thread....

Worked on this for near 4 years.  End result is not very steampunk... much more purely post-apocalyptic.  Its at home now, working out the wiring and tuning....

It wouldn't take much to add a bit more Steampunk. On mine I replaced the petrol tank with twin brass outboard motor tanks - google "British Seagull" to see the tanks. remove the marine paint and they are shiny brass underneath.
