Not sure if anyone has seen this, I found it on DA and fell in love!

Now that is a project I wish I'd been involved in!

That's really cool, I love this take on Steampunk where they take futuristic sci-fi and go all retro brass, copper and wood on them! Also a bit like the R2-D2 steampunk model I've seen on the net.

That, I believe, is the work of one Captain Sydeian, sometime denizen of these very boards!

Of course Herr Doktor you are responsible for Great Uncle Davros.

At some point all of us like to reclaim an item of pop culture for steampunk.

Oh and Herr Dok, how many arch nemesis do you currently have, and where do you keep the list?

I saw K-1889 at the British Library exhibit on Sci-fi last summer!  Located just a few steps from the TARDIS!

Normal policy would be to warn someone digging up a five year old thread, but I believe in this special case I'll let it slide.  Grin

I must ask though...just how did you, Captain, happen across this thread?

More importantly, Captain - have you done anything interesting in the intervening five years that you would like to show us?

I'd been meaning to add this link. http://sydeian.deviantart.com/art/K-1909-My-new-Steampunk-K9-214275575
The good captain has been busy.  It's a new version of K-9.  I like it even more than the previous one.
