This passed year at Animazement 2011,I went as Steampunk (Like in my profile pic) But now next year,I want to update it so badly. I've been thinking about buying a ammunition belt. But if you see in the picture,I had a rifle in my hands. It's just plain and needed a bit of an upgrade. Any tips and advice would help alot! =D

As an update to your rifle being too plain, why not watch Back to the Future part III and take a look a t Doc's rifle with the over the top optic scope.  If you REALLY want to go all out, you could always do some engraving on the casing of the rifle and some inlay and check work on the stock.

When asked how long something will take, always tell them longer than what you think it will take.  That way if something goes wrong you have time to fix it and if everything goes smoothly then you look like a miracle worker.

Embellish the rifle, add a scope or other accessories.

As for the belt, check out tandy leather for belt with ammo options http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/en-usd/search/site+search+results.aspx?sectionpath=3&processor=content&p_keyword=holster+kit

that's my opinion
