I say Chaps and Chappesses,
Would you mind awfully if I drew up a chair, raised a glass or two and maybe threw in my own twopennyworth from time to time?
Tickety boo,

Lude? That was practically boorish. Still sometimes one must push the bounds of gentlemanly good taste in order to apply the nessessary force to the point being made.

Good afternoon. Our robot house keeper will be by in a matter of minutes with a selection of hot beverages and crumpets or if you desire something stonger we've recently had Professor Honkenstein's clockwork drinks cabinet installed, a very talented fellow by all accounts.

Welcome.

And watch out for the Air-kraken. It's their mating season, you know.

Blasted Air-Kraken indeed. Has news arrived yet of the Prince Regent out of Portsmouth? A finer ship has never sailed the sky, they say.

I knew a chappsess  once, though I admit she feined away for some boater chap.  Quite depressing really.  I'm more of a bloke than a chap you see...

The trauma of Dyslexia causes me to instantly disregard spelling issues in others. But you are I believe correct.
