I recently changed my signature to show my steampunk bands logo, great all fine and dandy, currently my personal website and band logo show on my posts.  One of the other band members has amended the code in his signature, so that when you click on the image, your taken to the bands facebook page.  He's sent the amended code to us all, so that we can change our BG signatures.  But when I try to paste the code into the signature book on my profile, when I click on change profile nothing happens, I just get a blank page

 url is http://brassgoggles.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile2

Even if I try to delet my signature the same happens

I'm confused

This may be a bit of a daft question, but have you tried a different browser? I know some systems don't like certain browsers.

Other than that, I have no idea. Someone more computer savvy like S. Sprocket or Proteus might be able to help you more.

I was getting that very Server Error message earlier.

I just tried again, thinking that it might have fixed itself, and it accused me of a "Hacking Attempt!". Eek. All I want to do is change my signature and maybe add an avatar!

Although that's the nearest I've ever come to being a hacker! I feel sullied and dirty.

That's probably the "bad behaviour" anti-spam plugin acting up..
Your best bet to get the profile change sorted out would be to PM proteus.. I don;t have profile update privileges

I imagine he has far better things to do with his time. I'll leave it until it stabilises and do it myself. I just wanted to mention it here in case someone got a notification tattletaling that I'd tried to hack the forum or something.

Wouldn't want to get banned because the computer was telling lies about me, eh?hahah!

when I use internet explorer, the message I get is that the account I'm trying to change doesn't exist?  I'll pm proteus, and see what can be done.

I just changed my signature.  For some reason although it shows up on my profile page it does not show up on my posts.

Did I do something awry?

ETA: Oh!  And now there the quotes are.  How odd.

E again TA:  It looks like my signature was invisible until I posted once with the new one.  Sorry to have bothered anyone.

A code 500 error is a problem with the server.  Not being an admin on this site and not being familiar with the particular board software and plugins I wouldn't know what is breaking or be in a position to fix it.

The 500 Error was a couple years ago.
