Verry sorry but I feer that a point of fact must be made at this time

When rast we saw Sir Denis Nayrand Smith his broated venom filled body was being pulled from a coffin and he was decrared dead.

He had been bound and gagged inside with the dreaded brack mamba to “entertain” him.

The coffin had then been naired shut. Then chained crosed before being shoved out a moving airship at twelve hundred feet to prunge into the sea. The coffin sank rike a rock due to the added weight and the hundreds of small holes drirred into it.
{ holes to small to ret the brack mamba escape }

Thank you very much

So sorry indeed...

No offense or insult intended, Jim...I did wonder if you were paying attention or not, however...(lol).
------------------------------------------------------

None taken at all Mr. Bailey and thank you for your update. Truth be told, I wasn’t paying attention RL “stuff” and all that.

I have limited my online time the past few months so no I had no clue. It dose sound interesting.  I wont be rejoining the this rp, I missed too much by the sound of it { diffelent dimension? Ill have to back read it when I have the time } , so enjoy.

I introduced Dr. Fu Manchu to this rp and in less I am wrong to BG. But he is hardly ”my” character. Thank you Sax Rohmer. If he fits in your story line by all means….

Lastly, for the record Mr. Bailey I am only afraid of only two things, spiders and circus folk.

Sorry to hear that, Jim.

I didn't think you were scared of me; I was just egging you on. But if you insist, then so be it.

My apologies if I have insulted you in any way.

I would love some clarification in regards to the above...

Also, the 'unseeable shop' thing will pop up again in places and will tie in to the 'home dimension' past of Arthur whereby a mob boss he has worked for previously (who has acquired the use of time travel/dimension crossing) is attempting to find him pan-dimensionally (somehow he will have discovered Arthur has left his home dimension)

I think I should also mention I had a dream about this game, only Bailey was a woman...

I assure you, that incident in Singapore was all a misunderstanding.

As would I, but none seems to be forthcoming.

For my part, I just sent Jim a hopefully-friendly update and explanation of the mechanics (mutable though they may be) of the RP as to alterations, agreements between players, etc. (Jim (Pennypecker) is also the BG persona of Fu Manchu, and several other BG personae as well)

Apparently he felt overwhelmed by the idea of other Nayland Smiths/Smythes in other dimensions and the fact that the current one probably wouldn't extend beyond the current dimension (Smythe's a plot complication for the Notre Dame sequence)

oooh, I like the 'Prachett-ness' of that idea. So we have a pursuer now? Hmmm, sounds interesting...

In this one isolated case, yes. I don't know about other BG'ers who happen to be  named 'Jim." Seems a bit of a stretch to me for all of them to be one person.

Alright, I'll start it out with a character description, then go into the most recent post on the thread of mine.

Alegrah Eredschtadt:
Age: 17
Birth year: 1863
Height: Around 4'11 or so
Appearance: Dark, reddish-brown curls, very pale skin, aristocratic and feminine features, large green eyes, womanly but still seeming young, though strong-willed. Normally dresses in feminine, time and age appropriate clothing.
Attitude: Defiant, assertive and violent at times.
Weapons: several hidden knives, a pistol, a small hand-gun, and her shovel.
Profession: Grave-robbing

____

And for the post. The young man following her would be a "friend" from back home, where she had been disgraced because of her obsession with the macabre, hence the profession. She was going to be shipped of to an asylum but escaped. Her disappearance was covered by her parents faking her death, and now her closest circle of acquaintances from before have been attempting to track her down and do away with her, as people have grown suspicious at home and have begun to think that a larger scandal was covered up; that she was alive and would come home to disgrace her family.

Not meaning to horn in on your scenario, Alegrah, just playing 'Acting GM' and giving your character an out if one is needed. She may of course refuse, or tell Toulouse to 'get stuffed' or the preferred equivalent, rude though it may be.

He's just a shopowner catering to what appears to him to possibly be a blueblood customer who might come back later and pay a large price for something-or-other...

Actually gave an out to make the plot a bit more complex. Thank you! I figure now.. he can wake up eventually and go after her, catch up with her when she's around the others, make for a slightly more character revealing point.

The German dog links to the man from Arthur's 'unseeable shop' thing
He uses mentally enhanced animals from time to time.

Is Manchu on board or not?

Hmm, good question. Also, it seems that interruptions at leaving times are becoming common practice for our dear members of alternate society, hmm?

Apparently not I'm Not sure why. You could try PMing him to ask, or emailing him to ask him yourself.

This isn't over yet, and I apologize for doing the other two RP's while neglecting this one; things at home got hectic at about the same time, so as it all finally fell out, I updated the others while trying to figure out how to continue this one, and let it go almost too long. Again, I apologize.

If anyone is still interested in this RP, I hope its OK that I went ahead and put the ship into the Asian scenario...

I felt as though I was pushing for that background post in a sense and that made stuff grind to a bit of a halt, so apologies there guys...

Up to you
Seeing as we're in the eastern setting (dunno if it's Shanghai or Macau yet...) I can just do a catch-up post detailing what I did whilst on the ground
I'm on study leave for the most part which means I can be checking the forum but I'll not be wanting to get too absorbed for the meantime
