Cutty Sark/Greenwich Tunnel entrance? Midday?
Sounds good to me.... As a side note, if anyone is planning to drive, bear in mind that parking can be difficult in Greenwich. However the Park itself has a reasonable amount of space but will cost £1 an hour.... otherwise there is a DLR stop at Cutty Sark... which is the nearest to the meeting point....and numerous buses....Greenwich Railway station is roughly 10 minutes away. The concert at he bandstand starts at 2pm to 3:15 and again at 3:45, Should we want to have musical accompaniment for any picnicking activities....

I highly recommend travelling to Greenwich by river bus: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround/15544.aspxLook forward to seeing you all there. Midday sounds a civilised enough time, although I apologise in advance if I am *ahem* slightly worse for wear as I am attending a cocktail party the evening before!

Like it always says on the old posters for the Trooping of the Colour, "If Wet, in Village Hall"
Or bring a brolly.
Though the current forecast is for 'sunny intervals'...

The market is undercover, and there is a cafe in the park, or the royal Observatory, Maritime Museum, Boat trip? Although the rain (according to netweather) is supposed to be very light and possibly start at 1pm and be finished by 2...

Hoping I can make it this time! Looking out the window (am not too far from Greenwich as the crow flies) I would recommend provisionally bringing waterproof protection of some description if the weather stays as-is.

Thank you all for a lovely day! Simon enjoyed himself very much, however as his back was causing him some amount of pain I felt it best to leave sooner than later. Perhaps next time we can make it to the pub

We did however find the vintage shop, hidden in the market - where i had the first time experience of being the sole female waiting for the men to finish shopping!
