 It is called " Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes: Case of the Serrated Scalpel". Quite a splendid romp, old game, but still enjoyable. Since it seems to be abandonware, it shouldn't be morally disturbing to just download it for a quick run. Here's the link:

 I confess to using a walkthrough (strictly for hints to get out of jams, I tell you!), but that was only because some points in the game does require pixel-hunting for clues (in the form of objects). Even if you've sworn you looked everywhere for any possible clues, you may need this tip gained from experience: multiple objects can be in the same very small area, and all should be examined, and possibly picked up.
