Hi,
Actually I'm working on a Watertower for my Modellrailroad made out of Yoghurtpots. There will follow other steampunk and victorian orientated buildings.

Nur ein kleiner Hinweis: Im Englischen gibt es sehr viel weniger zusammengesetzte Worte.

Sehr hübsch, alles in allem.

I will add some details and then it will get a black coat and drybrushed in different colours.

I like what you've done so far.  It's very creative in finding the source material and, when completed, will no doubt sit well with the locomotives and other buildings.

What do you have planned for the glass domes on the first photo?

Persons intending to travel by open carriage should select a seat with their backs to the engine, by which means they will avoid the ashes emitted therefrom, that in travelling generally, but particularly through the tunnels, prove a great annoyance; the carriage farthest from the engine will in consequence be found the most desirable.

The glass domes are for an alternative version with a brass reservoir. One watertower is for a diorama, the other for a funktional modell railroad

Im extremen Notfall schon, so lange Übersetzer zur Hand sind, aber ich bin ja da. Wink
For the rest of you: His English is slightly rusty, reaches German politician level at times. I just volunteered to translate when I'm around.

Hello there!

A brilliant little project. I am very fond of models made from re-used rubbish - they go right back to the heart of toy making.

Railroads and steampunk go very well together. You are inspiring me to get my own models out again.

I build tabletop scenery for use with miniatures and always find many 'recyclable' items in such construction.  Some of my favorite sources are take-away food containers which come in so many interesting shapes and textures.

Aside from detailing said items into scenery dressing, some containers act as excellent casting molds for copying intricate textures, best example is creating ribbed domes or fluted cylinders in plaster or oven-baked clays.

The link below is a good example of the various container items that offer said potential.

That tiled roof looks cool, and the way you did the crenelations is really clever. Look forward to seeing more.

Love it! My dad was working on an electric streetcar layout before he died so this kind of thing has a very soft spot in my heart.

I still want to see a paint job that's as top notch as the modeling work.

So ganz fertig ist das allerdings noch nicht. Da muß noch etwas mit dem Pinsel gearbeitet werden, um den Details Leben einzuhauchen.

Ah, I have forgotten to mention something. The Landing pad and the technothingie ist not in H0 Gauge, but for my Warhammer 40k Table. Because I love the victorian epoche I dont use the Games Workshop gothic style buildings.
I think i should show you more projects of my gaming table:

My first projekt ever, the house ruin

The Brewery:

Suspened Monorail: (not finished)

Watertower:

Monument

Ventilator housing

My gaming table, not finished but to show that the monorail track is nearly 1,80m long
