Hi

This is a wireless Steampunk keyboard and mouse I'm currently working on. All comments appreciated, does it look ok, could I improve the design?

That one should go to Tactile. You just posted in the board maintenance forum.

Base design seems to be sound, only criticism goes towards the basic technology. Using a wireless keyboard always means membrane switches. It will invariably fail after just a few years. IBM or Cherry keyboards can survive for decades.

That mouse is so cool.  I love the keyboard, too, but I love the look of the mouse.  Gorgeous!

That is a spectacular mouse. I'd love to have one for myself. I just may have to borrow that design later on.

It's unfair to say that membrane keyboards fail after a few years, I have some that are about 10 years old and still nothing wrong with them.
The keyboard is looking good from what I can see but I don't know about the buttons on the mouse, looks clunky.

there are exceptions to everything, but I can assure you, in the almost 20 years I've been fixing the things I've thrown out a lot more membrane keyboards than keyboards with real switches.

I am not sure but the buttons on the mouse look like keys from a old typewriter right? The reason I have to guess is because I saw a small pair of goggles on the front of your mouse or a pair of port holes in the for of an air or sub ship I think mostly because the keys are black or dark and have no symbols on them.

if that what you are going for then I think a tiny bit more work to make them look like the little windows or goggles. ifnot then maybe adding a little L and R (left and right)
