That is a nice coat. Now if someone would do this at a reasonable price in my size... I get very tired of places that think a 48" chest size is the largest they need to stock.

I know exactly what you mean. In the UK I am forever thwarted in my attempts to buy off the peg Waistcoats (Vests to our friends across the pond
) who's sizes only ever go up to 46" Gah!!!

I hate to say this Mr. Grum Foss, but you may need to try getting waistcoats shipped from the US. Or you might see if Wahmaker are stocked by someone convenient to you, since they make some decent waistcoats in the larger sizes, and are widely distributed. Just remember that a US Men's 1XL (typically around a 48" chest) is the equivalent of UK and European 2XL, and so forth.
You might also see if any shops in your area or online stores in the UK cater mostly to gay men. I have scored some great stuff in my size with this method, since regular gym attendance is not unknown amongst the gay population hereabouts. This may not work in all neighborhoods, however. To this day, if I am shopping in San Francisco, I can find 2XL shirts and coats in the South of Market, but if I am shopping in the Castro, it's almost impossible. Apparently the old divide between the muscle-oriented leather culture of the former and the fashionably-slim ideal of the latter is still in effect, at least in the shops.

I'll see your 48" chest and raise you a 6'7" frame. Apparently no one ever told the designers you can be both tall and fat (well diet is working with the second half.)
