Distressingly I will be unable to attend.  Sorry for the late notice but everyone I work with has come down with the flu in the last few days and as I haven't as yet I can only assume I'm immune but certainly carrying the virus.... if it were an anthrax party I'd certainly come but as I doubt it is I'll play it safe and not infect all the guests  Sad

Persons intending to travel by open carriage should select a seat with their backs to the engine, by which means they will avoid the ashes emitted therefrom, that in travelling generally, but particularly through the tunnels, prove a great annoyance; the carriage farthest from the engine will in consequence be found the most desirable.

As usual, a jolly nice do, sir!

Made a new steampunk acquaintance, caught up with some older acquaintances, some nice toons, and managed to discombobulate some of the general populace  of B'ham (who demanded a photograph) on the way home.

To paraphrase Plunket and MaClaine, "I was fabulous and we had a bloody good laugh".

Thanks to those of you that made it.

Those of you that didn't might want to put this date in your diary now:
Saturday February 5th, 2011

It's my 21st Birthday Party (in Martian Years) so I expect I'll be doing something science-fiction related. I'm currently in negotiations with the bands... and it will most likely be ALL LIVE BANDS (plus DJ BoogieDave, just 'cos he's awesome).
