I want to alter the buttons using silicon and build a wooden frame, but despite mindless antique shopping I cant find anything small enough to put on buttons. Ideas?

You can get small adhesive "gems" from a craft shop. Not sure what else, you're talking about very small buttons.

Gems mights work i'm going to pick some up today after class.
Does anyone know if silicon will adhere to rubber well?

I found some gems that are the correct size!!! Ty so much for that idea
I'm starting the wood/leather base in the morning.
