In all reality, "steampunk" is anachronistic, innit? Otherwise it's just Victorian dress-up.
chain smokin', sleep needin', apparel designin', mohawk havin', tea drinkin', steady cursin', boy charmin', card readin' rabble-rouser and amusement park cleverly disguised as a woman

Please clarify, as I have been too frivolous to notice, what day is the BBQ: Saturday or Sunday? I'm confused

It's a good thing my wife made extra eggs... otherwise they might not make it through the night...

I am bringing meat but unsure as to what else to bring, so I will, as the modernized say, "wing it". Perhaps some napkins would suffice to keep our Renoir looks unstained?

Phil, not sure if anyone has though of bread... hotdog rolls, hamburger rolls, hell, I don't care if all we have is a loaf of Wonderbread...

Thanks VG for making this BBQ a real thing, and thanks to everyone who came, it was a smashing success!! Barely made it to work this morning i was so sluggish with consumed meat & whisky. Hope everyone had as great a time as my friends and i did. Mr. & Mrs Ringling, it was so good to finally meet you! And Wren, you proved as charming in person as i always imagined. Hope to see you again before your head home.
Cheers, all!

Indeed! A good time was had by all! The bugs weren't too bad (East Coast bugs are more prolific than West Coast bugs), the food was GREAT, the drink was tasty, the company exceptional. All in all a grand ol' time! Thank you VG, thank you VG's mommy, and thank you to all my friends for making this a great evening. Oh yeah, and thanks to Wren for hopping over the pond to say "hello!"

In a day or two I will upload to my flickr account. Anyone with a paid membership can download the full size image there. For anyone that does not have an account, send me a PM with the desired pictures and I will email them individually... I'll let everyone know when they go up... Oh, and please pass this info along to anyone who was there but not on BG... -Jerry

I have the 15th of this month off, which is a Sunday.
You know what I'm thinking? TEA!!!
I do believe that it is Guild Tea Time. We should bring Wren out for tea and have nibbles and good conversation. I like Ching Ching Cha, the last place we invaded, but if anyone has any other suggestions I'm open!
TEA!

Thanks EVERYONE for making that fantastic BBQ happen! I'm all sorts of >gush<ing that it turned out so well and everyone enjoyed it! So nice to meet the new faces, always wonderful to see the familiar ones, and everyone chipped in and helped with everything! Oh, it was Grand! Thank you thank you thank you! Other business: Lost and found: Someone, probably but not certainly female, left a red plaid shirt-type thing inside me mum's house. Anyone claiming it? I'd like to return it if possible. Tea: If it's early, I believe Wren and I would love to attend! I DO have to go back down to ma's that Sunday to help her with chores and such, but if we got an early start with the tea I could still make it down there with time enough to help out. Hathoway: Nice knife, dude.
