tea is a maybe for me. my weekend schedule is blissfully clear, but it (as always) depends on whether or not the oil pump has been replaced.

In all reality, "steampunk" is anachronistic, innit? Otherwise it's just Victorian dress-up.

I'm still up for it. VG mentioned that he'd have to make it an early afternoon b/c of commitments on the farm, but I see no reason for that to be a problem. What say you all, 1pm at Ching Ching Cha on the 15th?

Sorry for flaking out on the BBQ guys, work through a curve ball at us. I will ask my wife about the tea house. If anyone is interested we can meet later in the afternoon at our place. Some folks had expressed an interest in fencing.

Lovely having you Wren! SUCH good times! I'll do me best to be at tea...shouldn't be a problem, but I can't stay more than an hour, maybe hour and a half. Hathoway: Text me that morning so as to remind me to bring the plaid! I had a feeling it was hers...too small for Billy.

Hathaway, Nordic and VG stood out. Only forum members from here seemed to know who I was... (And that was a liiiitle creepy. )

Speaking of recognizing... Sorry it has taken so long, but here are most of the pictures from the BBQ: http://www.flickr.com/photos/29086310@N04/sets/72157624588589031/Anyone that wants all of the pictures sent to them, drop me a PM with a mailing addy and I'll burn them to cd. They are way to big to try to email 4 or 5 at a time... Hathaway, if you don't mind, pass the flickr link to your friends not on the forum. Same cd offer to them... I'll pass the link on to Billy through facebook...

Tea was a success, as is to be expected. Unfortunately, it was only three of us. Fortunately, two is all that's needed to make for good conversation! I, Hathaway and his fine lady were in attendance. Lapsang souchong was imbibed on my part. I really do hope that more can make it next time, as Ching Ching Cha is shaping up to be a favorite place for me. Heh heh heh, we did come up with an idea for next month though....
