I saw it in B'ham England a couple of years ago... Don't remember it being £60 a ticket... Don't remember anything untoward in the first 5 mins, either... Remind me, please (at my age short term memory's the first to go...)

I just hated the lil bit with the Martians having a chat on Mars in English and explaining their goals and reasons for engagement. I liked my Martians esoteric and unknowable, with goals beyond our comprehension.

Ya, that does sound lame. They're supposed to be all cool and unsympathetic, with envious eyes. 'Nuff said.

Not the 2007 concert by any chance Governess ??, that's the very one myself & my Father went to. We were positioned about halfway back on the left hand side facing the stage near the top, how about yourself & himself ??

I think it was the first round of gigs after it came back (as I said, memory's not so good these days...). I do remember the martians though. Although not their chit chat!

Hmm, 2006 then I believe, If I remember correctly we went to the concert the second year it came to Birmingham which was 2007 & I've been waiting to see it again since. This year I shall succeed (although I'm sad I shall miss Miss Jennifer Ellison as Beth )

Whilst it was certainly lovely for fans of Mr. Waynes extravaganza, I don't think it's worth £60...
Mind you, I'd love that fighting machine in my back garden.

My mum and I have always wanted to see this so we are both hopefully going this year, £60 or not. We always try to go to the theatre or whatever at least once a year.
