SO MANY TEST TUBES! SO MANY!! TEST TUBES. So friggen many. This is the best thing ever. I have aproximately 200 test tubes, they are constructed from soda glass and measure 90mm long, 16mm wide and the glass is 1mm thick. I have enough to trade some for things like bits of clockwork, bits of brass, other science glassware, bits of metal, 60 year old electronics, magnifying glasses. Many things that take my fancy. So if you want some test tubes; I have lots and am willing to trade them for things that I want. SO MANY TEST TUBES!

Whatever takes my fancy, metal things in general; old tools, fancy bits of metal, bits of machinery and plumbing. Bar stock would be good as I am getting a tap and die set soon

I may trade some test tubes for them! Do you have the associated handle and dies though? And what sizes are these taps? I could really do with both taps and dies, because I need to make some specific threaded rods for some devices.

Dear JingleJoe, Many days I come home from school miserable. Then I get on the forums and little things like yours and many others posts make me giggle. But I digress. I am currently working on a mini gun no bigger then the palm of my hobbit-esc hand. Now I was debating a test tube attached to the top or maybe a vaccum fuse. Since you seem to be the test tube man on the forums, any suggestions? Much Love, Elise Von Tempest.

Got a good piece of solid brass for trade. 15.5 x 4.5 x 1.3 cm roughly, two of the sides are a bit uneven. How many test tubes would you want to give for that?

Well a test tube full of hyper-nitrophlogiston fuel wouldn't go amiss said tube mounted to the device in the fashion of a magazine of bullets might look rather spiffing. Wow thats a thick peice of brass I have no idea what I'd use such a gargantuan slab for so unfortunately I must decline. If you have any thinner sheet brass though I can allways use more of that! Or sheets of copper and zinc for that matter.

What could an American send off as a trade for this brass slab?

I'd be more than happy to give you 15 tubes for the taps and two dies and handle lets make it an even 20 Those knives are rather interestingly shaped, what side is thier blade on? The inside of the curve or the outer? Any idea as to thier original purpose?

Kewl ill pm you my address. I still have yours somewere.
The knifes are vintage saddlers knifes. I have 4-5 that i keep for my leather but the others i cut anything and everything with them. They may be old but you can get a brilliant edge on them! I use the little straight ones now instead of my craft knife.

Well if you'd like to throw in a knife or two too I'll add another 7 test tubes making it 27 in total Just make sure to put something on the end of them or selotape them to cardboard, they work thier way out of the packaging in transit if allowed to move around as would the taps probably!

What could an American send off as a trade for this brass slab? I'm always ready and willing to trade for larger gears. Not the flimsy stuff found in clocks, but something from 1" across. I can also use brass flyscreen, but I mostly ask Australians for that. Got a good piece of solid brass for trade. 15.5 x 4.5 x 1.3 cm roughly, two of the sides are a bit uneven. Or sheets of copper and zinc for that matter. Well, I could see to the acquisition of sheet brass. You give me some Metric measures, I can grab it and send it your way. You only need to pay me in test tubes. Ten or twenty would be plenty, rhyme accidental.

Natural Dr Seuss ability Well the bigger the peice the better! How does a peice 40 by 25 centimeters sound? You could divide that into two 20 by 12.5 cm peices if that makes it easier to post, but like I say the bigger the better. Also any strips of copper wider than 5mm and zinc the same would be smashing How about 15 test tubes for the brass, 20 if you can give me some copper bits too Oh and over 0.5mm thick but under 1.2mm

I posted your tubes today and I washed them out too, so they are clean and ready for science! I do have more scientific glassware like conical flasks and round bottomed flasks and these weird things that kind of look like volumetric flasks but they aren't However I am not sure I want to trade them, having this much sciencey glassware makes me cackle maniacally upon seeing it, I rather enjoy cackling maniacally
