The same situation obtains here in the Catskill Park - we use the HughesNetsatellite service. Even when the phone lines go down in the myriad storms, we've got 'Net. |

sounds like where my folks live, in western PA. They barely have sattelite TV and the phone still clicks (have to pay extra for a "tone" connection). Love your post, Mr. Boltneck  |

Clackamas is a county. Milwaukie, Oregon City, Gladstone, Happy Valley, Damascus, Boring, Estacada (getting more and more remote as I go down the list) would also object to being called part of Portland. The Portland Conurbation I could accept. But saying that Hillsboro is a suburb of Portland is like saying that Tacoma is a suburb of Seattle. Z. |
