Whilst on a tour of duty in the Uncharted Antipodean Wastes chasing infamous Airship Pyrates, Lieutenant Ruprecht Carruthers-Ivanovich of the Imperial Zeppelin Marines happened upon a magnificent Steamvessel with the outlandish name "Waratah". Seeing neither guards nor hostile natives laying claim to the vessel, the Lieutenant deemed it his noble right to appropriate the Steamship as his own.
After an intolerably long and rigorous period supervising the backbreaking labour of his subordinates, the Lieutenant had the Waratah returned to her former beauty and function.
He gathered about him fellow officers, useful collaborators, ladies of a certain reputation and a crew of unwilling natives for an evening cruise around the sights of the harbour that his translators assured him was locally known as “Sid-eh-nee”. Apparently this name translates as "Place of Many Pubs". A truly magical evening was had by all (except possibly the press-ganged natives).
