I've been away for a while but my mind has never left. I pulled out the old torch and took a trip to the local recycling center to scavenge some old brass/copper tidbits. Alas, the Model .01 Water Filtered Nicotiana Apparatus An instrument used to enjoy the fine pleasures of flavored tobacco. A fusion of modern science and Gentlemen's style. The hookah has a glass bowl, cycles from underneath to the bubbler tube and into the top chamber. There is a ball valve atop the device so a simple blow through the hose will purge any harsh smoke through the exhaust pipe (looks pretty cool too). The bowl arm detaches and an inner "trap" will catch the heated molasses to prevent it from gumming up the whole system. The mouthpiece conveniently rests in a holder on the side to keep it tidy and clean. The entire apparatus disassembles for cleaning. You can actually put the parts (minus the hose and base) into the dishwasher for a complete cleaning. The vapor chamber will be equipped with a light source very soon. Care for a smoke fine chaps?

This is the most amazing-looking hookah I have ever seen. As a shisha lounge owner and ocasional narghile collector, I am extremely envious of you, sir. I need to smoke through this incredible device. Would you care to post a more detailed description of its workings, well illustrated, as to maybe some day build myself one similar artifact?

And if you put the right stuff in the bowl, the green slime chamber breeds sea monkeys. Excellent work, a real conversation piece.

Step 1: Hire Assassin to do you in. Step 2: Steal Hookah. Step 3: Hide in a dark room with my precious! Stunning work Sir. Thanks for posting it! My GF and I were discussing Steaming up my small hookah but after seeing that I think I'll just go back to work on the RV instead. lol

That is exceedingly awesome! I haven't smoked shisha in a long time, since my own cheap hookah broke (lousy piece of crap). You've inspired me! I do believe I will attempt to build my own Alchemy Hookah, though I don't expect it will look as cool as yours.

I agree with the others here, fantastic work! I was actually talking at work today about building a hookah in the form of a diesel stack or steam whistle, but that is just excellent.

Thank you for your input. I enjoyed building it almost as much as I love smoking it. I have laid a trap for your assassin Artorius, he will not get far. Once the wiring for the lights are sorted I will be posting a video of it in action.

The lights were all wired up on new years eve, finally took some new photos of the finished piece in action!!! Purging the chamber by blowing softly into the mouthpiece. The ball valve gives and the steampipe releases the smoke if it gets to harsh.

not a smoker myself but I know a beautiful piece of art/machinery when I see it. that's rather amazing
me? I'd love to have a hookah for the look... but re-purpose it into a coffee/tea maker :3
have it come out the smoking tube instead of puffing the smoke from there, yes? hehehe

Shipping only inside the US. A shame.
Could you put up a detailed building manual instead? More than one of us might want to have such a thing.
Goshdangit and snarfblatt, maybe I'll just fool around with a standard Turkish brass hookah...

Ooohh...back when I smoked a pipe, my preference was for the Hookah. Alas, my wife insisted that I stop using it, as she felt that no one would believe that I was indeed exclusively a tobacco smoker. This is a work of beauty that brings back yearnings of my nicotinic days.

Gah, that is indescribably awesome. x3 I'd be all over bidding for it... if it wasn't a bit over my current price range. ^^() Still, it's a beautiful work of functional art.
