I sported chops for Gannon University's production of The Life and Adventure of Nicholas Nickelby, and can sometimes go months without a shave; but the mustache does not complement ANY modern hair styles. Of this, I am certain. One has to acquire a historical appearance to master the 'stache in my book.

Which means becoming clipped to anachronistic promotions is on my list just after acquiring clothes as such.

The first guy has a musketeer-like look which I like. The guy who says his moustache makes him look like a kiddy fiddler I would probably have to agree with. The one with the Dali-style moustache manages to make a moustache look girly.
