The latest album and the previous, which was re-recordings of earlier material, are the only ones I'd consider 'Steampunk'. They're the ones I like.

Honestly? The next one... trust me.

From the live performances of their new songs I heard at SteamCon, I'd have to agree with Sepiachord. "Victoria" and "Aether Shanty" just blew me away, if I may use the trite expression.

I just wish they hadn't lost the damn hard drive with Finn's stuff on it.

I just wish they hadn't lost the damn hard drive with Finn's stuff on it.

If they re-record all of their Aether Shanties (I think there were some left intact) then Finn's only album appearances with them will be as back-up vocals on Sleep Isabella and This Dark And Twisty Road. Seems hardly fair...

Death of Tragedy, hands down.

After that, Dreams & Angels.  Lost Horizon next. Smiley

Cemetary #1, and Death of Tradgedy, so far.

You know, this would make a fine poll question...

Death of Tragedy, with Lost Horizons a very close second...depending on what mood I'm in. Although ( bizarrely enough),  Hush is probably my favourite track.

Lucius, I posed that same final question/option on a poll on the Abney Park fan forum: abneypark.gothicamerica.com

-We had a lot of fun with that one.   Grin
