new ray gun i have put together, i think it came out pretty well. the design is based partly off of the alien blaster in fallout 3, and partially off of Herr Döktor's steam pistol. take a look.

looks nice! checked out the other pics on your blog, only thing that jumped out at me was maybe add a knob or something to the back of the "egg" to balance out the form a bit.

Cool! Nice clean lines. A silver or pewter trigger guard may look a bit more 'right' with the black and pewter theme, but overall, quite nifty.

I'm liking the clean lines and simplicity of the design, sometimes you can loose an idea by adding too much detail, but you look to have got the balance just right!

i tried a couple different schemes for the trigger guard, but none of them have really worked, this one is mildly better than the others.

Herr Doktor, i really appreciate your comment, seeing as your piece provided much of my inspiration. : )
