Arg!  How did you know I was working on a monitor?!?!  ::scans sky for airship drones::  Ah well, it is a much different design than mine (not to mention inferior)...

Haha, I actually like the design very much--brilliant use of gas-lamp parts!

That is amazing. It would definitely look better on my desk than my current flat screen monitor.

Ah! I see you recognize the parts I bought from our own Mad Salvager!

What a beautiful and inspired piece Von Slatt. It truly looks like what I would imagine a Steampunk monitor to look like.. My hat is off to you sir.

Truly beautiful.  I tip my hat to you good sir.

BTW - Are you trying to make me wear out my F5 key on the Steampunk Workshop page?   Post it already.  Smiley

-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Hey, now that's a thought! Slatt, have you thought about adding verdigris to that screen's metal? Could be quite interesting, even though the clean aesthetics rather better match your environment.

You've done it once again, Mr. Von Slatt!  Excellent work... I was figuring on (when I get a round to it) using a wooden picture frame style shadowbox (like what my dad made for displaying his Indian arrrowheads and spearpoints for my monitor mod, but I may "borrow" a few ideas from your mod.

Well done, my friend. I love the way it all came together. I was wondering how you were going to pull off the base in particular. The marble is beautiful!
