I heard about some gear fridge magnets on another thread, and decided to make my own. (sorry, it doesn't have a motor.)

I... I... I just... I just lost control of my faculties. These gear magnets look gorgeous. If I had magnets like these on my fridge, I fear I'd spend hours fiddling with these!

Thank you. I am going to make a ton more of these. (I have a 2 gallon bag of plastic gears. sadly only a handful of metal ones.) I found a motor to power the gears too. (I have 3 2 gallon bags of motors, so it was unlikely that I wouldn't find one)

I'm thinking that I might make and sell more of these, if anyone is interested.

Those are quite nice.  Are the ones you've shown the metal ones?

I for one would be interested in purchasing several of them.

Where did you find the magnets? I assume they are tube shaped and held in place by those tiny bits of metal, so that the gears are free to spin?

Very nice work. I've been thinking that new magnets would improve the kitchen....

the second picture shows the magnet, it's a rare earth magnet.
