The gentleman with him (with the ponytail, spoke to Mr Bellows and cogling earlier about goggles etc - unfortunately didn't catch his name) expressed his disappointment that you'd all had to leave so early as he was hoping for a photo op downstairs.

A Missed photo opportunity with a "Professional" actor ?? Shocked...Damn, I'm besides myself with Dismal !!

Well, I also missed said opportunity as I retired back to the bar shortly after the conversation! (hic, again).

Blast.  Think he spoke to me too- "Who's this very proper looking gentleman?  How do you do Sir?"
'Tis sad indeed that we missed a photo opportunity.

Persons intending to travel by open carriage should select a seat with their backs to the engine, by which means they will avoid the ashes emitted therefrom, that in travelling generally, but particularly through the tunnels, prove a great annoyance; the carriage farthest from the engine will in consequence be found the most desirable.

Yes, he mentioned you and your 'penguin' specifically. Would have been good as we could possibly have got some photos of the hall, and without the crowds...

I'd have loved to see some of the less public areas of the house.  As it was though I didn't get home until after 9, so it was fortunate I left when I did.
