Hey all,

I just finished a compilation I think you may be interested in?

Most of the tracks I chose have never been recorded with an orchestra (with the exceptions of the Main Theme, and Aeris Theme). You may also notice the last few tracks are bonus pieces taken from the scores to FFVI and IX respectively. As well as the classic credits music "Final Fantasy".

I've gotten a few concerns because of the exclusion of "One Winged Angel", however in order for me to have done that song justice, I would have needed the full Latin choir (which I simply don't have access to).

Anyways, enough babbling from me. Feel free to d-load the collection here:
Vernian Process - The Cries of the Planet[/a]

I would love to hear any feedback you might have?

Thanks!

Anxious Heart is hauntingly beautiful, there is a slight change with the original, but I think it is for the better!

For Tifa's Theme; it really reminded me of when I first played... it has a maternal feeling in it, which to me was linked to Marlene. I thought Tifa was her mother, oops.

For The Shinra Corporation; this version to me is so much better... the drumming and the beat makes me think of uncountable solders marching along, and the rest of the music like a Requiem for those apposing them.

On That Day, 5 Years Ago; Simply brilliantly done. I wish I could say more but a bit spellbound.

The juxtaposition next with J-E-N-O-V-A really took me by surprise. A very well performed with all that speed involved in my opinion.

Valley of the Fallen Star... the music seemed a bit, heavy, maybe a tad bit harsh. It didn't do it for me like the others, and was different enough to say something. I am in no way musically honed though so it's just my taste.

The Great Warrior; being a good deal related to Valley of the Fallen Star, I believe was much better. I love just about everything about how this sounds done by an orchestra.

Those Chosen by the Planet... honestly makes me wish this had One Winged Angel, but I appreciate this song.

The Nightmare Begins; is that a harpsichord along with the piano? Whatever is making that sound... I want it.

The Forested Temple; I was kind of expecting a bit more from this piece... can't explain it though.

The Highwind Takes to the Skies; I just love this, it has bits of just about every Final Fantasy game in there somewhere. A very light(it is a small personal plane, can't be all that heavy) and whimsical piece.

In the piece, A Secret Sleeping in the Deep, it may just be by computer, but I keep getting little bits of static blips.

All in all, I like this very much, and if it were to include some colorful art booklet I could see myself being happy of paying $20-$25

So, I thank you for the chance to download this for the low low sum of $0.00!

I will write a full reply in a bit, but damn.. those static blips in A Secret Sleeping in the Deep are on my mix as well. I think I included an older version of that song on accident. D'oh!

I'll upload the newer version later.

There is a very few handful of them throughout a few other songs, I'd assume a better audio playing program could show them better than my ear though. Glad I could help Smiley
