Brief information, sketches and photographs of early submarines from 1580 to 1869 other pages go into more recent designs. Pretty fascinating if you ask me, and I came across a few nice boats I had not encountered before. I came across this beauty via that website.. mounting a 12-inch naval gun on a submarine? What's not to like?? Cheesy

lovely site.
it is also interesting that many people think submarines are a modern invention when there histroy can actually be traced back many century's.
