"It has been a good long while, and I must regrettably tell you my father has left us," I said, knowing this was exactly who I had to find- funny that D'Artime had made my finding him that easy...

Sighing softly I gathered the now-grown little girl into my arms to offer comfort, "I am so sorry to hear that, if I can be of any help or comfort"

Persons intending to travel by open carriage should select a seat with their backs to the engine, by which means they will avoid the ashes emitted therefrom, that in travelling generally, but particularly through the tunnels, prove a great annoyance; the carriage farthest from the engine will in consequence be found the most desirable.

Once the thunder had quietened, I discerned a faint groan from the rubble where the wall used to be, could this be a premeditated and calculated attempt on the part of D'Artime to allow us both to escape?
